Art and Party Studio Franchise
The Giggling Pig is an award winning art and party studio that offers art classes, parties for kids and adults, camps, homeschooling, walk-in activities and events. Their online gift shop offers art boxes, apparel, gifts, party favors, accessories and more. All character illustrations are drawn and owned by Hannah Perry of The Giggling Pig.
Throughout the past several years, I've been fortunate to be a part of the evolution of The Giggling Pig. I helped Hannah to build her brand by using consistent typographic styles and graphic elements throughout her marketing channels and promotional products.
My design work includes The Giggling Pig website, in-studio posters, brochures, stationery, advertisements, books, and flyers. I converted her illustrations into vector art and also added elements to match her style. (For example the clouds, banner flags, and book graphic details.) I also designed several packaging items, including art subscription boxes, plush characters, item tags and activity books.
Hannah's dream has been to franchise her business. In the last two years she made that dream a reality and there are now four Giggling Pig studios in Connecticut. As a result, my most recent project was a Brand Book.
Identity + Branding
The Giggling Pig's identity was already established with an illustrative logo created by the client. The first revision entailed enhancing the colors and making the text more prominent. I went back a few years later to upgrade the logo with Hannah's latest illustrative style and branding colors.
